A rare lesion of cervical lymph nodes: Angiomyomatous hamartoma

Objective: Angiomyomatous hamartomas are extremely rare, tumor-like lesions of the lymph nodes. They usually seen in inguinal region rarely nodes cervical region. Histopathologically, fibrous tissues, smooth muscle cells, and vascular structures node structure. It is important to distinguish it from benign malignant node.
 Case: A 1 cm diameter excision material removed a 26-year-old male patient was sent pathology laboratory with pre-diagnosis lymphadenitis. 4- micron sections were taken paraffin blocks prepared tissues belonging lesion. The samples examined by staining Hematoxylin-Eosin. In histopathological examination, found that almost all structure consisted cells located on ground. case reported as angiomyomatous hamartoma.
 Conclusion: rare their consideration differential diagnosis will reduce risk possible diagnostic error.
